The CIMA Professional Qualification syllabus is made up of three elements:

1. The Managerial level – six exams
2. The Strategic level – three exams
3. The Test of Professional Competence in Management Accounting (TOPCIMA) – one exam based on a case study

All of the exams are assessed via paper-based examinations, are three hours long (with 20 minutes reading time), have a pass mark of 50% and are stand-alone: once passed, you get a permanent credit.
