Student Registration
To become a CIMA student you will need to complete the online registration process at www.cimaglobal.com and send the required paperwork to CIMA.
Entry Routes to CIMA & Exemptions
Entry routes into the CIMA qualification depend on your previous experience.
If you do not have any relevant qualifications then you will need to complete the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting which will allow you to progress to the Professional Qualification. The Certificate is assessed by Computer Based Assessment (CBA) and is flexible allowing you to progress at your own rate.
If you have a relevant qualification - such as a degree or a professional qualification in accounting or business subjects – you may be awarded exemptions from selected CIMA papers. Visit CIMA’s online database to find out what your exemptions might be.
